We had booked a flight over the grand Canyon before we booked in, but after an attempt to bump us, my having a total hypo breakdown with the stress, I had been off and on all day, we got a free up-grade to a helicopter flight. Beloved thought it absolutely wonderful. I did not hate it and it wasn't like a boat or anything, but I think I have now done helicopters and need never do one again. The views were rather good and I managed to keep my eyes open when we were actually over the canyon. The downside was I felt unwell for hours and lost my optical sunglasses but Beloved just thought me a heroine for getting a result.
